Pasta bake with ham and cheese 🧀🍝

A perfect “cocooning” recipe for a weeknight, ready in less than 30 minutes, with just a few basics:

Ingredients (4 people)

- 300 g of short pasta (penne, shell pasta, macaroni)

- 2 thick slices of white or skinless ham

- 20 cl of liquid cream

- 100 g grated Emmental cheese (or a mixture of 3 cheeses)

- 1 small can of sliced ​​mushrooms (optional)

- Salt, pepper, nutmeg

Preparation

- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water. Drain.

- Cut the ham into small cubes.

- Mix the pasta, cream, ham, mushrooms and half of the cheese.

- Pour into a baking dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

- Bake for 10 minutes at 200°C until the top is golden.


đź’ˇ Quick tip : add a touch of mustard to the cream to enhance the flavor, or replace the ham with pre-cooked roasted chicken cubes.
