WHAT I DRINK: This pure origin ground coffee is grown in agroforestry in Ecuador between 1000 and 1500m above sea level in the Loja region. This fair trade and organic Ecuadorian coffee is grown at high altitudes of 1000 to 1500m in the Loja region. In the cup, this pure origin Arabica offers a beautiful, smooth and balanced harmony with a fine acidity and notes of elderflower, brown sugar, and caramel. The intensity of 5 on a scale of 10 results from the terroir effect and the roasting level. The coffee cherries come from a cooperative of small producers in Ecuador. Grown without pesticides or chemicals, the coffee is purchased directly at a fair price and contributes to local fair trade projects with an impact. This coffee has full traceability: harvested by the producers, then roasted and packaged in Bordeaux by a subsidiary of the Scop Ethiquable. WHAT I SUPPORT: THE REVIVAL OF A RARE COFFEE IN AN ISOLATED REGION With the support of fair trade, producers have renovated abandoned coffee plantations and revealed a rare coffee. They have been able to revitalize their region.
