WHAT I'M BITE-DOWN: 100% Peruvian dark chocolate offers a roundness in the mouth, very fresh butter followed by spicy notes and cooked fruits. The cocoa is grown in cocoa plantations under forest cover in the Amazonian Piedmont. We have been working with producers from the NORANDINO and ALTO URUBAMBA cooperatives since 2003, to implement impactful fair trade projects. Native Amazonian varieties: Local processing in Peru. 15% more added value for producers, 20% less weight to transport by boat. Made in France in our 100% organic and fair trade chocolate factory in Gers. Chocolate expertise: Fermentation in wooden crates for 3 to 4 days at the cooperative.
