WHAT I'M BITE-DOWN: The Sambirano Valley produces a rare Trinitario cocoa with typical citrus notes. An 85% cocoa content is able to highlight these fine, tangy aromas, without bitterness. The cocoa grove of the Sambirano Valley in Madagascar produces a rare cocoa with citrus notes. This full-bodied 85% Grand Cru chocolate highlights the finely tangy aromas of this terroir, coated in an intense cocoa flavor. Malagasy cocoa is grown in a tropical area subject to monsoons. An ancient agroforestry system specializing in cocoa and spices. We have been working with the producers of the LAZAN'NY SAMBIRANO cooperative since 2010, to implement impactful fair trade projects. Local and native criollo and trinitario cocoa varieties from Madagascar. Made in France in our 100% organic and fair trade chocolate factory in Gers. Chocolate expertise. In 2021, the cooperative received the gold medal for African cocoa excellence at the International Cocoa Awards.
