These roasted, salt-free cashews are sourced from organic and fair trade farming. 250g family pack. Naturally rich in nutrients, they are roasted without added fat or salt to preserve their authentic flavor. Perfect for a delicious and healthy aperitif, they are also ideal for satisfying a small hunger or enhancing your favorite dishes. Depending on the harvest, these cashews come from three cooperatives of small producers in Senegal, Burkina Faso, and El Salvador. Grown without pesticides or chemicals, they are purchased directly at a fair price and contribute to local impactful fair trade projects. They display full traceability: harvested and shelled by the producers, then imported and packaged in the Gers region by the Scop Ethiquable. WHAT I DEFEND: A PRODUCER-CONTROLLED SECTOR Local processing by producer cooperatives is a major economic issue: they sell their shelled nuts 5.5 times more expensive than a raw nut. It is also an ecological issue that reduces transport by 73% compared to a non-organic cashew nut produced in Africa, shelled in Asia and consumed in France.
