WHAT I'M BITE-DOWN: 56% Peruvian Grand Cru Cusco milk chocolate. A milk chocolate with a high cocoa content means less sugar in the bar. Peruvian cocoa and its 56% cocoa definitely remains on the milk chocolate side with a sweet milky and vaporous chocolate. Very expressive, you will experience the indulgence of a pastry that gives full play to the fruits with tangy notes of passion fruit and strawberry, overlaid by honeyed nuances of gingerbread, like a mist of muscovado sugar. These are native Amazonian cocoa varieties. We have been working with the producers of the ALTO URUBAMBA cooperative since 2020 to bring impactful fair trade projects to fruition.
